Session Overview

This session is designed to cover a range of theoretical and practical information, during which we will discover what light is and how to use it from a technical and artistic point of view, why we need chromatic notions and how to design a lighting scheme in relation to the camera.

Module A

  • 01: Visual Language;
  • 02: Types and Categories of Light;
  • 03: Character vs. Decor;

Module B

  • 04: From Black/White to Color;
  • 05: Chromatic Notions;
  • 06: Perception & Technology;

Module C

  • 07: Light and recording media; 
  • 08: Multicamera Lighting Design;
  • 09: Interdisciplinary Visual; 

Each Module has a duration of four hours, being divided into three parts of fifty minutes, with breaks in between and time for coffee, discussions between colleagues, questions and answers. The recommendation is to participate in all modules, but it is not mandatory. You can choose what interests you. You can take notes in the classic way, pencil and paper or with your personal tablet / laptop. You may take photographs, but audio or video recording is not permitted.
